Currently employed as an online tutor, providing services in Math, History, and Literature to not
only Japanese students but also individuals of various nationalities located throughout the
world. This job has greatly increased my cultural sensitivity and awareness, as some days
require tutoring students of vastly different subject matter and language abilities in as many as

Hired to teach English as a Second Language (ESL) at a large, private boarding school in
Zhejiang Province. Responsible for planning lessons and training other teachers at the primary
school level. Learned and mastered the Let’s Enjoy English methodology, which incorporates
songs, music, games, and TPR activities together into a dynamic and engaging lesson for the

Big Mouth English Magazine Hangzhou, China 2009-2011
Main voice over actor for a popular English learning magazine for children of various ages,
located in Hangzhou. Used both English and Mandarin for animating various characters.
Recordings were produced in a recording studio alongside an editor and an actress. !!

Employed as a full time teacher in a contained classroom environment, providing subject matter
instruction to 30 students. Job duties included lesson plan creation, song & dance
choreographing, filling in for other staff in case of illness, accident, or emergency, attending
faculty training and other meetings, and interfacing with parents on a regular basis. Gained a
reputation as a flexible, patient teacher who developed a strong relationship with his students. !!

Employed as a full time ESL instructor teaching English conversation to children ranging in age
from 4 to 17. Job responsibilities included attending teacher workshops and seminars with other
western staff, keeping students engaged in the education process with exciting yet educational
