 As a casual reliever for Auckland Edinburgh College in New Zealand I had to be extremely flexible and capable in my teaching abilities. The school catered  to adults of all levels, from the very beginners to advanced conversation.  I  would be assigned any of those levels and would provide thorough, quality lessons in a short period of time.

  As the Academic Coordinator for The Princeton Review’s English center at the         Hyundai Kia Motor Group’s world headquarters in Seoul, South Korea,  I was  required to be flexible and adaptable in my roles and duties. I was  responsible for researching, planning, and implementing public speaking courses as well as daily news briefs for our
clients. I would regularly act as a one-on-one tutor for clients preparing for their Speaking Proficiency Enhancement Program exams. As an administrator I was responsible for   relaying messages between clients, instructors, and off-site management,  keeping said messages as clear and detailed as possible. I was also in charge of   general maintenance and management of the center, be it organizing and streamlining inventories of textbooks and supplies, creating a welcoming  environment, or collecting and entering data.

  As the Head of the English Department for Ann Thompson International                Academy in Icheon, South Korea, I was both teacher as well as administration.         I researched, planned, and implemented a wide range of classes including  Basic Grammar, SAT and OPIC Prep, TOEFL Prep, and Reading Comprehension. As this was a boarding school, I was also charged with clubs, community events, and mentorship. I organized and sponsored the school’s  high school arts club and planned cultural celebrations throughout the terms. I  also served as counselor for a set of students, helping guide them to create and   carry out their four-year plans for proper accreditation, graduation and eventual enrolment in universities abroad.

 As an English teacher for WiLS Language School in Seoul, South Korea, I was charged with lesson planning and teaching a wide spectrum of abilities and ages ranging from three to fifty-three. I was responsible for learning the material  and creating a lesson plan that would help students reach their academic goals within a set period of time.
